The scheduled time must be within a 1-hour to 3-month window, and you cannot schedule posts for events, jobs, or services. You will receive an error message if you attempt to schedule one of these post types.

To schedule a LinkedIn post on your mobile device:

  1. Tap the “Post” button in the navigation bar.
  2. Type the content of your post in the “What do you want to talk about?” field.
  3. Tap the clock icon in the upper-right corner.
  4. In the Schedule pop-up window, select a date and time when you want to publish the post. 
  5. Tap “Next.” You can see the scheduled date and time above the post.
  6. Tap “Schedule” in the upper-right corner. A confirmation pop-up will appear.

LinkedIn post schedule for desktop

To schedule a LinkedIn post on your desktop:

  1. Click “Start a post” at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.
  2. Type the content of your post in the “What do you want to talk about?” field.
  3. Click the clock icon in the lower-right corner to schedule your post.
  4. In the Schedule pop-up window, select a date and time when you want to publish the post.
  5. Click “Next.”
  6. You can see the scheduled date and time above the post.
  7. Click “Schedule.” A confirmation pop-up will appear on the lower left of the page.

How to view a scheduled post on LinkedIn

To view your scheduled LinkedIn posts: 

  1. Tap the “Post” button in the navigation bar on mobile or click “Start a post” at the top of your LinkedIn homepage on your desktop.
  2. Tap the clock icon on mobile or click the clock icon on the lower-left of the Create a post pop-up window on the desktop.
  3. In the Schedule pop-up window, tap “View all” on mobile or click “View all scheduled posts” in the lower-left corner of the desktop. You can view a preview of all the posts that you’ve scheduled in the Scheduled posts screen.
