New Features are Rolling out On YouTube Shorts
YouTube is tapping into their creative side for their Shorts option. They have recently announced that there will be some new features rolling out that will help users personalize their shorts on YouTube.
YouTube Shorts have become very popular and many brands, businesses, and creators are utilizing this feature very heavily for a wide variety of reasons. So new updates and features are always great to hear about and use!
New Features on YouTube Shorts
Let’s take a look at some of the new features and brainstorm how these new features could benefit you!
YouTube Auto Layout
This feature was first available on Androids only and now is being rolled out to all users. This new feature is great for those who repurpose their long-form videos into YouTube Shorts. By taking short portions of the very important parts of your longer video and posting them on Shorts could help you improve your visibility on your longer video.
Text-To-Speech Option
This feature may sound familiar to you and if this is the case it is probably because this feature exists on TikTok. This is not shocking, because as we are all aware a lot of the short-form video content platforms copy each other all the time.
The text-to-speech option allows users to create automatic narrations for their videos. To utilize this feature all you have to do is record your short, click on add voice, and from there you will have 4 voices to choose from.
Auto-Generated Captions
Another feature coming to YouTube Shorts is auto-generated captions. This feature allows you to add captions to your videos so that users can still understand the video without sound.
You will be able to edit and customize the captions after they are created.
Remixed Shorts
Remixing will soon also be a new feature on YouTube Shorts. This is yet another feature that TikTok also has. You will soon be able to add your own response video to other users or your own content.
Add Yours Sticker
You may have seen these stickers on Instagram and soon you will see them on YouTube Shorts. This allows users to create creative responses to user’s questions.
This feature has created lots of engagement on Instagram so we will see if it is as successful on YouTube.
